Shove or fold?

Make the decision in a full spot, hand by hand, like at the table. With your account, you train on your own ranges.

  • A real in-situation decision, with the full spot context provided.
  • Instant feedback on every hand played.
  • On the Nash equilibrium or your imported ranges.
The loop

The 5-minute ritual that brings you back every day

Always the same cycle: the app tells you what to review, you train, your ranges sink in a little more. A range "heats up" when you master it, "cools down" when forgetting looms.

No need to choose: spaced repetition spots the ranges you're about to forget and serves them first. You open the app, your session is already ready.

02You train, it heats up

You rebuild each range from memory. Every right answer heats it up — and pushes its next review further out. The better you know it, the less you see it.

Smart training

A session that teaches you your ranges.

More than a quiz: the app picks what to review, locks in each new range in three steps, then has you replay it until you hit 100% mastery.

Study

Spot where each action goes, zone by zone.

Trace

The grid fades — you trace over it.

From memory

It vanishes: you redraw it solo, until flawless.

Why it works

Made to stick, not to cram.

Forge runs on spaced repetition, a memory technique proven ever since Ebbinghaus mapped the forgetting curve: maximum retention for minimum time.

With ForgeWithout reviewTime

The forgetting curve

Without review, you forget most of what you learn within days. That's true of everything — including the ranges you studied so carefully.

Review at the right moment

Revisiting a range just before you'd forget it resets your memory and pushes forgetting further out each time. Forge schedules every review for exactly that moment.

Recall, actively

Rebuilding a range from memory anchors it far better than rereading it. Every quiz is active recall — the effort that turns knowledge into instinct.

Features

From range to reflex

Everything you need to turn a range you read into a decision you make without thinking.

Create or import your range

A smooth 13×13 editor — or import what you already have in seconds: Range Manager (.rm), text notation, JSON, even a screenshot of a grid, rebuilt for you by pixel analysis.

Two trainers

Rebuild your range from memory (13×13 quiz) or call the shot in a full spot, just like at the table. Every mistake flagged on the spot so you fix it right away.

Spaced repetition (SRS)

The algorithm reschedules each range right before you'd forget it: lasting recall in a few minutes a day, without revisiting what you already own.

Analysis & progress

Mastery rate per range, streaks, trends and weak hands to revisit: you always know what to work on first — and you see your progress in black and white.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a range in poker?

A range is the set of hands a player can have in a given situation. For example: opening 45% of hands on the button is a range. Mastering your ranges means playing consistently and hard to exploit.

What is spaced repetition (SRS)?

Spaced repetition is a scientifically proven memorization technique. The app schedules your reviews exactly when you're about to forget, for maximum recall in minimum time — a few minutes a day are enough.

Why not just use Anki?

Anki is great for generic flashcards, but nothing in it is built for poker. Forge speaks your language: 13×13 grid, frequencies and mixes, formats (Spin, MTT, cash, Heads-Up), a situation trainer and range import. You keep all the power of spaced repetition, without spending hours building cards.

I don't play very often — is it still worth it?

Yes — that's exactly where Forge helps most. When you play rarely, you forget your ranges between sessions. Spaced repetition keeps your memory sharp in a few minutes a day, so your ranges are ready the moment you sit down.

What player level is it for?

Forge.poker is for players who already know the basics and want to lock precise ranges into memory: from advanced beginner up to semi-pro regular.

Which poker formats are covered?

Spin & Go, MTT (multi-table), 6-max Cash Game, Heads-Up. You can create folders by format and by situation (open, 3bet, call, BB defense, etc.).

Can I import my existing ranges?

Yes. Forge.poker supports importing from Range Manager (.rm), text notation (AA,KK,QQ+…), JSON and a screenshot of a 13×13 grid. Pixel analysis automatically rebuilds the imported range.

Does Forge.poker replace Equilab?

Its built-in equity calculator does the same job as Equilab — win odds Hand vs Hand and Hand vs Range, preflop and postflop — right in your browser, nothing to install. But Forge goes further: its core is making you memorize your ranges until they're reflex, not just crunch the numbers.

How much time does it take per day?

5 to 10 minutes a day are enough. The SRS system automatically schedules your reviews at the optimal moment — you just follow the program and your ranges sink in naturally.

Are my ranges and progress saved?

Yes. Everything is saved to your account and synced: you find your ranges, your history and your SRS review schedule every time you log in, on any device.

Does Forge.poker work on mobile?

Yes. Forge.poker runs right in your browser, on desktop as well as on a smartphone or tablet — nothing to install. You can review your ranges for a few minutes wherever you are.

Is Forge.poker really free?

Yes. You can create an account and train for free, no credit card. A Pro plan will lift the free plan's limits, but you don't need it to get started.
